Director's Bio

Changing his studies from art, to receiving a BA from Western Michigan University in Film, Video, and Media Studies, Darius Gardner is a writer/director whose stories typically revolve around art, poetry, and the human experience. As an auteur of color, his primary goal is to maintain his artistic freedom as to not be bound by the measure of expectations that flood filmmakers of color, but to instead use his background in art and poetry to tell all-inclusive stories that do not single he, or his ethnicity out.
